What Convention Locations are in Atlanta?
The Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC), Convention Center encloses some 3.9 million feet of exhibition space and hosts a million+ visitors each year. The GWCC is the fourth-largest convention center in the United States. Opened in 1976, the GWCC was the first state-owned convention center established in the United States, and it located in downtown Atlanta at 285 Andrew Young International Boulevard NW, adjacent to the Centennial Olympic Park, CNN Center, and State Farm Arena.

The GBAC STAR Accreditation Program is performance-based and designed to help facilities establish a comprehensive system of cleaning, disinfection, and infectious disease prevention for their staff and their building. The program relies on GBAC’s comprehensive training, which teaches the proper protocols, correct disinfection techniques, and cleaning best practices for biohazard situations like the novel coronavirus. The Georgia International Convention Center boasts 400,000 square feet and is the world’s only convention center directly connected to a major airport, and the modern facility embodies the grace and efficiency of flight itself. The GICC is connected by the ATL SkyTrain, a complimentary 2-minute ride to and from the airport and the rental car center.
